First of series of international matches, played on Bridge Base Online, as the competition between teams, using different bidding systems was played on 30.th January between teams of Poland and Indonesia.
Poland was represented by Krzysztof Martens – Krzysztof Jassem, playing Polish Club (Wspólny Język) when vulnerable, and strong club with 9-15 PC one level openings and 4-8 PC twosuiters on 2 level when not vulnerable.
Second Polish pair – Michał Kwiecień – Rafał Jagniewski play short club (“Strefa” variation of Polish Club) with transfer responses after 1♣ and optional relay distributional sequences after 1 level openings.
For Indonesia played Lusje Bojoh – Robert Tobing and Joice Tueje – Taufik Asbi. Both Indonesian pairs use natural, 2/1 system with weak no trump.
