Introducing...Ara (aramesh_}
| Ara is our first and (currently) only yellow host from India. In his non-BBO life, he's a distinguished academic specializing in plant sciences, and taught and supervised research in various colleges in Pondicherry, India (where he currently resides with his wife, Jaya.) Ara is also understandably proud of his daughter, who works for Oracle in California. Ara has played bridge for 40+ years, but reminds me each hand is a new experience, so he's really still just a beginner, bridge-wise. The genial, soft-spoken man loves to meet and make new friends. He attends his old class reunions without fail. In his 5 years on BBO, he's met many Indian BBOers, and also overseas visitors like nural_78 from Israel, and Spwdo (Belgium). Other BBO friends, like twobid2, he met irl whenever he visits USA. Special "hi" to you from Ara, your BBO real-life friend! Now that he's finally retired, Ara is taking time to smell the roses. He's addicted to BBO and devours books - mainly thrillers and WWII stories. But Ara just can't take things easy. He is currently also getting trained as a medical transcriptionist, just for the fun of it. I think the medical term for this is, "valde sapiens". :D Welcome to BBO yellow, Aramesh_ !  |
